The Mechanical and Production Engineering (GMP) department at the IUT de Béthune offers training in the fields of mechanics and production engineering. It trains generalist senior technicians in mechanics, who will work on the transition from project to finished product. The program is available as a 3-year initial or sandwich course, and as a one-year professional license, accessible to those with 2 years’ higher education.

The Chemistry department of the IUT de Béthune boasts state-of-the-art analytical chemistry and organic synthesis facilities, where students are introduced to fine chemistry practices, analytical methods and chemical engineering. It offers the possibility of preparing for the 3-year Chemistry diploma (BUT Chimie), both initial and sandwich courses, and a QHSSE professional license (1 year after Bac+2) for all sectors of activity.

The Quality, Industrial Logistics and Organization (QLIO) department at the Béthune IUT offers training in quality, industrial logistics and organization. It offers the possibility of preparing for the BUT (3-year diploma), in both initial and sandwich courses.

The Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computing (GEII) department at the IUT de Béthune offers training in the fields of electricity and industrial computing (electronics, computing, automation, programming, electrical engineering, industrial networks, etc.). It offers the possibility of preparing for the BUT in 3 years, on an initial or sandwich basis.

The Networks and Telecommunications (R&T) department at the Béthune IUT offers training in networks and telecommunications. It trains “neticians”, i.e. people with knowledge of networks, thanks to a 3-year training program (BUT) offered both initially and on a sandwich course basis (starting in the second year).

The Civil Engineering and Sustainable Construction (GCCD) department at the IUT de Béthune offers training in the fields of building, civil engineering structures and public works in 3-year initial and sandwich courses.

The Nutrition professional degree offered by the IUT de Béthune provides a solid grounding in the “eating well” argument and in food, as well as skills in the agri-food sector, project methodology and nutritional prevention. It’s a one-year professional degree accessible to those with 2 years’ higher education.
