The first edition of the Green Tunes music and eco-responsible village can pride itself on attracting students and sunshine!
From noon on Thursday June 6, the courtyard of the IUT de Béthune was decked out in festive attire, with a stage, food stalls and live music!
The BDEs mobilized to organize a music festival ahead of its time, in cooperation with local partners such as Cyclocampus and Music Artois, two associations that have become a fixture on the Bethun campus.
At a time when the university is actively committed to sustainable development, the organizers wanted to take advantage of this event to raise student awareness of ecology and the circular economy.
Among the stalls on offer was a “vide-dressing solidaire”, with clothes at low prices thanks to the collection carried out over several weeks with Le Relais, as well as second-hand bicycles reconditioned by Cyclocampus.
The high point of the day was a late afternoon concert by the Space Alligators, just after classes: an inspiring moment for the budding musicians at IUT!
The event attracted over 200 people throughout the day, and will be repeated in 2025.
