Saturday January 25 was the Bethune’s IUT Open Day! Our students and teachers provided information and guidance to over 350 visitors from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Throughout the day, the 6 departments offered activities linked to their training: the Chemistry department was thrilled with a bloody Escape Game, the QLIO department exhibited a Toyota CHR, while the GMP department held two lectures to explain the content of the BUT. In the R&T department, visitors discovered examples of how a network can be attacked, outside the GCCD department a concrete pump truck was on display proudly flying a Béthune IUT flag, and finally in GEII, students explained the computer code of the robots they use.

Throughout the day, the students of our Nutrition professional degree offered sweet crêpes, as did the various BDE (student offices).
If you were unavailable on Saturday 25 it’s still possible for high school students to discover a training program for an afternoon thanks to our immersions. Just follow this link: https: //immersion.univ-artois.fr/ and fill in the blanks. During these half-days, we welcome high-school students as future students: in TP groups, they work with our students and can talk to them about the content of the course and university life!
