This academic year, 5 students from the IUT de Béthune were able to carry out their BUT internship in Japan:
– Valentin VANDERVEKEN and Aurélien LEURS in GEII;
– Manon GAUDIER and Bastien FRESSE in GCCD;
– Nicolas LERMINET in Chemistry.
All 5 were able to join the NITs (National Institute of Technology) in Asahikawa, Hakodate, Hachinoe and Oyama for several weeks of academic work.
GEII students focused on programming, robotics and automation, while Civil Engineering students worked on structures and transport infrastructures. The Chemistry student focused on formulation, materials science and organic synthesis.
Students from the Blois, Calais, Le Havre, Lens, Lille and Valenciennes IUTs were able to benefit from the same international exchange. As part of a French delegation from several IUTs, Jolanta Rousseau, International Relations Officer at the IUT de Béthune, visited them for the end-of-course defenses held from June 24 to 28.
Congratulations to our 5 students for their hard work and progress throughout the program!
