On Tuesday May 20, 2025, BUT 3 Génie Civil students from the Bureau d’Etude Conception et Travaux Bâtiment course visited the Manoir du Huisbois in Le Wast, home of the Parc Naturel Régional des Caps et Marais d’Opale, for a tour focusing on eco-renovation.

The visit began with a presentation of the regional nature park, then our students were able to learn more about the pathologies of old buildings. This was followed by a heritage reading of the buildings and an explanation of the energy choices made, using only renewable energies.

The visit gave the students a hands-on look at technical solutions for eco-renovation and insulation.
