Since 2021, IUTs have been offering BUTs (University Technology Bachelors). By joining a BUT, students benefit from an integrated 3-year course and a degree aligned with international standards, facilitating exchanges abroad. The curriculum is always based around work experience, with periods spent in companies as work placements or on sandwich courses. The Béthune IUT offers 6 BUT courses: Chemistry, GCCD (Civil Engineering and Sustainable Construction), GEII (Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computing), GMP (Mechanical Engineering and Production), QLIO (Quality, Industrial Logistics and Organisation) and R&T (Networks and Telecommunications).
