The Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering and Sustainable Construction covers all sectors of activity related to building and civil engineering. Its aim is to certify senior technicians with strong technological skills, but also familiar with the non-technological aspects of the profession, such as project management. They are destined to work for construction companies. Their skills cover all construction techniques, from foundations and structures to technical equipment.
The holder of a B.U.T. Génie Civil
– Construction Durable (Civil Engineering – Sustainable Construction) will work in all construction companies. The diploma prepares students for a wide variety of professions, which can be classified into three main areas depending on the context of the activity and the objectives pursued: project management; project supervision; and site organization and management. This course is specifically designed for careers in building site organization and management.
Types of jobs available:
– Beginners: Site manager, draughtsman/project designer, design/quotation technician, methods technician, laboratory technician, QSE technician, assistant or assistant site manager.
– After 2 or 3 years’ experience: site manager, project manager.
For admission to 1st year
BAC général scientifique ou technologique
DAEU or equivalent diploma.
For admission to 2nd or 3rd year, you need to hold a 1st or 2nd year scientific degree.
